MINISTRYVISION/MISSION
‍With a large senior membership in the SPC English Congregation, the ministry to the seniors is of special importance.  The key element of this ministry is the
Cup of Faith Fellowship which is slightly over two years old.  There are three Cell groups that also serve a mainly senior membership - the Hebrews Cell Group, the True Wine
Cell Group and the Evergreen Cell Group.   The overall vision is to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of the seniors in the Church and to reach out to the seniors in the community in the vicinity of SPC.  
‍●    Cup of Faith Fellowship - In July 2023 we commenced the once-a-week Cup of Faith fellowship, with the aim of both “in reach” and “outreach”.   The CoF is led by
Ms Angelin Paul.  CoF has been actively reaching out to seniors within the SPC family, and many members of both the HCG and TWCG, also attend the CoF. At the same time, CoF also aims to actively reach out to seniors in the Community, especially within the vicinity, including Hougang, Punggol and Sengkang. In its first two years of operation, several new members have joined the CoF, and have also started to attend the SPC service regularly.   To date there are about 35 members in the CoF with a regular attendance of about 25 members every week. The COF meets every Wednesday from 9.00am to12 noon. During this time the members play board games, sing songs, engage in art and craft activities, and make small talk. Spontaneously members contribute snacks, and there is always something to eat, together with coffee and tea provided. The CoF also organise other activities like talks, outings, Christmas celebrations, making palm crosses together, etc.  More such activities are being planned.  
●    The Hebrews Cell Group (HCG) has been meeting regularly for the last nine  years. The group currently has about 30members (25 regular) and meets once a month in the New Life Room, SPC, after service.  The HCG has completed a number of bible studies such as “Knowing God Through the Psalms”, “ Great Prayers of the Bible” and currently the book of Philippians. The HCG is led by Benjamin William. 
‍●    The True Wine Cell Group(TWCG) has about 16 members.  The TWCG meets once a month in the home of Tan Hee Chai, with the bible studies led by Vicar, Clarence Fong and Jimmy Tan.  We will continue to seek the Lord’s guidance and wisdom, as we seek to minister to the needs of the seniors in the Church, as well as, to reach out and minister to the seniors in the community.
